Scouts and Guides – Environmental Awareness and Service Activities

Our Scouts and Guides students actively participated in environmental and community service activities on 10th and 12th September 2026.

On 10th September, the students visited Varahi Amman Temple, Othakadai, where they cleaned the temple premises and its surroundings. They created awareness among the public about the importance of avoiding plastic use and planted several saplings that they had brought with them, promoting a clean and green environment.

On 12th September, the students visited the Gandhi Museum, where they conducted a rally to spread awareness against the use of plastics. They also distributed paper bags and saplings to the public, encouraging everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute towards a greener environment.

The activities reflected the true spirit of Scouting and Guiding—service, responsibility, environmental care and community awareness.
