A three-day Space Trekking Programme was organised for students from KG to XII Std on 7th, 8th and 9th September 2026. The programme provided students with an exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of space through telescope observations, interactive sessions and immersive learning experiences.

A special attraction was the Dome Show, where students were seated inside a dome and space-related videos were projected onto the entire upper surface of the dome, creating an immersive planetarium-like experience. Class-wise videos related to space, planets, stars and other celestial objects were screened according to the students’ levels. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience as the planets and other celestial objects appeared large, vivid and seemingly close to them, making them feel as though they were travelling through space.

The programme helped students gain a better understanding of the planets, stars and celestial objects, while nurturing their curiosity, imagination and scientific thinking. It was a memorable, engaging and hands-on learning experience beyond the classroom.
